This is a Southern Irish naval service (an tSeirbhís Chabhlaigh) rate’s cap the obvious difference to the British naval rate’s cap is the addition of the blue pom-pom on top of the cap and the tails of the tally hanging at the rear of the cap plus the addition of the cap badge.
